SUPPORT
4ALLPORTAL supports both leading ERP software and independent solutions with REST API.
Integrating your own ERP system makes sense for all companies whose product portfolio is regularly changed or updated. Be it through changes to master data, accessories or new manufacturing processes.
Theoretically: Yes. Practically: No. By default, the 4ALLPORTAL ERP connector prohibits the overwriting of master data in your ERP system. Our philosophy is that the ERP should have absolute data sovereignty and remain the lead system for all master data. Accordingly, only data records are sent from the ERP to the 4ALLPORTAL, not the other way around. At the same time, all data fields in the 4ALLPORTAL PIM are in read-only format by default. This means that master data cannot be changed in the PIM either. If desired, however, admins can configure this default setting so that selected persons are granted editing rights.
In general, the 4ALLPORTAL supports all ERP solutions with a web-based REST interface.
REST APIs are nothing more than programming interfaces that enable data to be exchanged between two applications. “REST” is a common standard that can be used to transfer information (e.g. in JSON format). In principle, all applications that have such an interface can be connected to each other.
Yes, of course you can also transfer master data from your ERP to the 4ALLPORTAL via CSV import. This procedure is particularly suitable for companies whose product catalogs do not usually change and tend to be static.
Yes, 4ALLPORTAL also supports rule-based, intelligent CSV imports based on the “hot folder” principle. This involves storing CSV exports from the ERP in a predefined folder, which are then analyzed by the 4ALLPORTAL importer. After a successful delta comparison, only new data records that are not yet in the PIM are added so that the entire product portfolio does not have to be re-imported.
